Shao hsing rice cooking wine 14% vol 600ml TCC
Shaoxing wine is one of the most famous varieties of huangjiu, or traditional Chinese wines, fermented from rice.
It originates from Shaoxing, Zhejiang provice. Shaoxing rice wine is brown in color and the flavor is much stronger than mijiu rice wine but sweeter. It does go well with drunken chicken, drunken prawns, dongpo pork and other slow-cooked meat dishes.
This cooking wine is also perfect for marinating your meat before cooking it. Just marinate it for 10 minutes with some corn or cassava flour and it is ready to cook!
